Wigs are a great option for everyone! Whether it is an every day must have, weekend outing, or you just want a quick fix, we have what you need!
Most think that wigs are for people without or thinning hair. Boy are they mistaken! We are seeing a rise in sales for people looking for a quick fix!
Imagine this: It is a lazy Saturday and you need to run to the store. Your hair is a mess from the night before. Instead of washing your hair, blow drying and styling, all you have to do is pop your wig on and save AT LEAST 30 min! Who wouldn't want that? ( And not all of us look good in caps!)

She has come to the CopperLeaf with 10 years experience in custom making and fitting of wigs for Broadway shows such as Addams Family, Spam A Lot and Les Miserables.With her vast experience and education of wigs, Suzanne recommends 4 simple steps to choose the wig best suited for you!

Style

 

Why not start with the style!!

These are going to be the three different options you will want to discuss with your stylist. Do you want to have the same style of hair as you have now or try a new look? If you're not sure about what you want, set up a consultation and just try them all on to find what look best suits you!

Color

 

The options are almost endless! Solid, highlighted, gray, natural, white, or red! This again is an option that you can discuss in your consultation.

Cap Options

 

Cap Size
This is where the professional will step in and tell you exactly what you need. In order to find the wig that best suits your head shape, Suzanne will measure the circumference of your head.  Some wigs have adjustable straps that will give up to 1/2''.

Features
There are four different methods of attaching the hair to the cap. There are different advantages and styles that each option provides.

1. 100% Hand-Tied- Creates the most natural movement as well as being the softest and most comfortable.
2. Monofilament- Creates a look of natural hair growth where hair is tied individually to a sheer base but not the entire cap.
3. Lace Front- Creates a look of styling hair away from the face and should be handled with care!
4. Basic cap- Creates the illusion of thicker more voluminous hair that is the most durable and affordable. 

Structure

 

Last but not least in your decision making will be the structure that you would prefer. This area covers what you would want the hair to be made of.

Human Hair

• Looks the most natural

Synthetic Hair

• can look similar to human hair
• limited styles
• hot tools cannot be used

• little maintenance

Heat-Friendly Synthetic Hair
